To the Fans:

I would like to start off by saying the Janesville Jets have the best fans in the NAHL. The atmosphere that you all bring to this building is amazing. This is your team and your pride is shown with how loud you cheer for us. The players love skating on our home ice because they hear you in the stands.

The season has been exciting so far and will only get better. Playing at home with great crowds has definitely given our guys a boost in the game. Our record at home this year is 5-1-2 to date. We have had some very exciting games in Janesville: overtimes, shootouts and last minute victories! You fans have had the opportunity to watch a couple different teams come into town from Alaska this season for two very exciting weekends of hockey.

We just had our first Jets Division 1 commitment of the season, with Jason Ford Committing to Bemidji State of the WCHA. And we plan to announce more commitments as the season goes on. There is so much potential and young talent on this team that numerous colleges are interested in our men! In addition, the Jets have moved Austin Vieth up to the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL and would like to wish him the best of luck!

We are a young, fast and skilled hockey team – and that makes our games exciting to watch. And with a group of kids as hard working as we have on our roster, we are improving every day. They understand that hard work is what gets you to the next level. We are a team that is going to be one to watch out for as the season goes on.

These young men understand that there is more to being a Jet then just playing hockey. We as a team want to be involved with the community of Janesville as much as possible. Our players volunteer a minimum of 12 hours each month with different organizations in our local community. To name a few, the players are all Big Brothers here in Janesville and we are mentors with the Boys and Girls Club in town. We understand that helping each other is what ties us together, and that strengthening our roots in this community is what gives us such a solid foundation. We are your team and together this is OUR town – and that is something that we take great pride in and strive to support in any way we can.

I would like to personally thank each of our fans for all you do for the JETS! This is your team so be LOUD & PROUD for your Jets!

Your Coach,
